  My sister Vonnie and I visited here seeking our family friend Jim Williams after our other friend Derand Black told us today that he saw Jim here last Friday. We did not find Jim here on Monday night, but we had a fun, relaxed evening playing pool and drinking a beer. We WILL be back to visit at Woodsie's Hilltop Lounge again when we come back to Pensacola. Thank you, Brandy!

  I've had some fun times at Woodsies, but after last night I am no longer going to go meet up with my friends there.
  Drinks are usually great, bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.
  However, last night the host of karaoke broke a big rule of good customer service.
  If a customer makes a mistake, you don't fly off the handle.
  I had gone up to pick a song for the next round of Karoke and she had been looking for the next guy to come up on stage.
  Now the laptop was already displaying the list of songs but I couldn't see it all, so I had just reached out and scrolled down, as many people know how to do with no problem, so I could see the rest of the songs.
  She saw it and blew up.
  She raged at me as if I had smashed her screen or corrupted the Karoke program.
  It completely shut off any good mood I had before and I immediately went home.
  I understand they have to deal with drunks and probably feel they have to be aggressive to make sure they get a point across, but that's just not a good enough excuse for how she lashed out.
  She didn't even let me explain what I had been doing.
  I tipped the waitress 10 dollars that night. The service at the bar is great, but I guess just be careful around the hosts.
